DENHAM SPRINGS - A postal worker was hurt in a mishap at the Post Office here Tuesday.

Police said a driver inadvertently hit the gas instead of the brake and drove through the building.  The driver managed to drive through the area housing mailboxes and into another part of the building where mail is sorted.

The postal worker sustained moderate injuries, police said.
