SHREVEPORT - A Shreveport firefighter has been arrested on various charges including indecent behavior with a juvenile

In a news release, Louisiana State Police said 35-year-old Brian Garza was arrested after he facilitated a meeting with what he believed to be a 13-year-old child and her mother for a sexual encounter with both.

Once the alleged meeting was arranged, authorities say he left the fire station while on duty and traveled to a location he had chosen, where troopers were waiting to take him into custody.

Garza was booked Tuesday with indecent behavior of a juvenile, prostitution and computer-aided solicitation of a minor. If convicted, Garza could serve up to 70 years in prison and fined up to $75,000.
