Overnight house fire sparked by burning vehicles, arson suspected

BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Fire Department says a house fire Wednesday night spread from two vehicles that were set on fire nearby.

The incident was reported on Tams Drive around 1 a.m.

Investigators have ruled fire an arson after they found evidence that two vehicle were intentionally set ablaze. The fire reached the home but was quickly put out.
