BRUSLY — Full Moon Market is moving to Brusly, with the first event in its new home set for late August.

The monthly market, which was previously held in Plaquemine, features more than 40 local vendors selling handmade goods and food, live music and a way to support local communities.

Organizers on Facebook thanked the Plaquemine community for helping the market grow, as well as vendors, shoppers and anyone who spread the word over the years.

The first market in Brusly will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Saint James Park. Click here to see a list of vendors.
