East Feliciana schools to dismiss early due to severe weather approaching
EAST FELICIANA – School officials have announced that East Feliciana parish schools will be dismissed earlier today due to severe weather approaching.
Officials say that schools will dismiss at 2:15 p.m. instead of 3:15 p.m.
There are currently two severe weather threats. The first first is expected for Monday with showers and thunderstorms approaching the area in the afternoon. Additionally a wind advisory is in place through 6 p.m. with winds of 15-20 mph and potentially higher gusts.
Another severe weather threat is expected for late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
