Deputies captured man who allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl
LACOMBE - With the public's help deputies were able to locate and arrest 35-year-old Lee Cousin Thursday evening.
An arrest warrant was issued on Tuesday by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office for Cousin who is suspected of raping a 12-year-old girl.
According to deputies, after an investigation was launched authorities discovered that a minor was being sexually assaulted at a residence in Lacombe.
The warrant was issued on Feb. 18 for the arrest of Cousin, for first-degree rape.
The suspect was found inside of a Slidell-area business located near Hwy.190 and Thompson Road.
Cousin will be booked into St. Tammany Parish Jail. He will be charged with first-degree rape.
