BRPD: Man arrested after threatening to crash into, burn home of child's mother
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a man after he allegedly threatened his child's mother by saying he'd crash into and burn her home.
According to a Baton Rouge police probable cause form, Darryl Boyd told the victim on Monday that he'd crash his truck into her home and burn it down during an argument.
Hours later, the victim said Boyd broke into her home and stood in her hallway before laughing and running away. As he was running, Boyd allegedly said "they gone have to kill me."
Boyd was later contacted during a traffic stop, where he denied making the threats. He also said he was invited into the home and the door was open prior to coming inside.
