BR detox center employee accused of raping patient
BATON ROUGE - Police reported the arrest of an Independence man who was accused of raping a female patient at the detox center by which he was employed.
25-year-old Julius Williams was booked into the parish prison on one count of second degree rape.
Police said they responded to the scene in the 200 block of S. Foster after a 20-year-old victim reported she was raped there. The location is a detox center, and the victim was under court order to be there.
The victim said Williams entered her room at the center, told her she was in trouble and said she needed to come with him. Police said the victim informed them he led her to a conference room where he forcibly kissed her and raped her. After the rape, the victim said Williams told her he was going to have sex with her every time he comes to work for as long as she was at the detox center.

Other patients at the detox center were interviewed and all reported the victim cried all morning following the incident.
