PORT ALLEN — The West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is seeking help identifying two people who allegedly stole multiple cartons of cigarettes from a convenience store along Lobdell Highway. 

Police say the accused suspects arrived at the store at around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 30. The accused woman entered the store first and began distracting the clerk, while the male entered the store and headed to the storage room, where he loaded multiple cartons of cigarettes into a bag, according to WBRSO.

The woman continued to talk to the store's employee while the man walked out of the store with the stolen goods. 

Anyone with any information is urged to call WBRSO Detectives at 225-382-5200 or Capitol Region Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867, where callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
