3 injured in shooting Tuesday night; police searching for suspect
BATON ROUGE- Baton Rouge Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night around 10 p.m. in the 2800 block of Erie Street that injured three people.
The victims, one 35-year-old man, one 54-year-old woman and one 61-year-old man were hit while standing outside at the location. Family members told News 2 three children were at the home when the shooting happened. The children's mother, stepdad and grandfather were injured in the shooting.
Police say that it is believed that the shots were fired from a passing vehicle. Witnesses say they saw a silver car leaving the scene. The victims were later transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
According to BRPD, there are no known suspects or motives at this time.
