Livingston Parish Government offices close Tuesday due to water outage

LIVINGSTON — Water was restored in the town of Livingston Tuesday night after a main water line was hit while replacing a culvert.
The Town of Livingston reported that the line has been repaired and water is turned back on. Residents who lost water pressure are under a boil advisory until further notice.
The water line under Blind Street was accidentally struck Tuesday morning due to utility maps indicating the water line was buried five feet beneath the canal. Instead, the pipe was situated directly underneath the culvert.
