Upcoming OMV closures affect driver's license, registration, and title services
BATON ROUGE — Louisiana's Office of Motor Vehicles is closing all customer service centers Sept. 14 for system modernization and staff training.
Private companies contracted with the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV), including public tag agents and auto title companies, will also be affected. According to OMV, those businesses will be unable to process driver's license, reinstatement, vehicle registration and title transactions from Sept. 12 through Sept. 14.

OMV's website, Expresslane.la.gov and LA Wallet will also be temporarily unavailable from Sept. 12 through Sept. 13.
