CENTRAL — Greenwell Springs Road was closed at Wax Road due to a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Central Police Chief Roger Corcoran said one vehicle was driving east on Wax Road, ran a stop sign and hit a truck that was towing a boat. The crash knocked the boat off its trailer.

Corcoran said it wouldn't be long before the roadway was reopened.

No injuries were reported.
