ROSEDALE — The Village of Rosedale is giving away free fans to help senior residents beat the heat. 

The fans will be distributed at the Rosedale Town Hall at 5 p.m. on Thursday. Rosedale senior citizens are encouraged to sign up by visiting the town hall or calling (225) 648- 2333. 

The event is sponsored by Entergy's Beat the Heat program. Fans are available in limited quantities and are only available while supplies last.
