ZACHARY — The Rising Starz Early Learning Center in Zachary celebrated its 10th anniversary this week. 

To commemorate the occasion, a ribbon-cutting was held on Tuesday. 

"It's been amazing working with young children and their families to provide quality care for them, to witness them from infancy all the way up into pre-K," Rising Starz's Shamita Collins said. "It's a joy to see them grow and develop at such an early age."

Public officials, including Zachary Mayor David McDavid, attended the celebration.
