BATON ROUGE — The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is encouraging all families to complete an economic data survey to help the district secure funding for students, schools and families. 

The survey could help secure funding for computers, books, school supplies and other educational needs within the school district, the district says. Parents and students who qualify could also receive grocery assistance, waivers for testing, college applications and household Wi-Fi.

The survey collects information about household income, which determines eligibility. 

The deadline to apply is Oct. 20. Families can apply through MySchoolsApps or on their website.
