BATON ROUGE — LSU shooting guard MiLaysia Fulwiley was named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Preseason Watchlist by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

The award is in its 10th year; across its first nine awardees, no LSU player has received the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award.

Fulwiley, who transferred to LSU last season, averaged over 14 points a game and over three assists per game with the Tigers. Fulwiley has one national title, two Final Four appearances and a Sweet 16 finish over her three years at the collegiate level.

LSU point guard Jada Williams was also named to the Nancy Lieberman Award Watchlist. Fans can cast their votes starting Friday, with the winner to be presented on a to-be-determined date.
