BATON ROUGE — The LSU Alumni Association announced the start of its annual Tiger Nation Challenge and it is calling on former Tigers to join. 

The association will be competing against Clemson ahead of the season opener to see who can raise the most money. It will also be raffling two LSU Football season tickets to alumni who donate. 

Contributions to the program go directly to supporting alumni across the country with networking events, regional chapter activities, student engagement initiatives, career development opportunities, alumni travel experiences and other experiences, according to the LSU Alumni Association. 

"This challenge is about much more than football," Joe Carvalhido, president of the LSU Alumni Association, said. "It's about showcasing the incredible strength of our Tiger family while investing in the programs that connect LSU alumni across the country. Every gift helps us create meaningful opportunities for LSU Tigers to network, celebrate, and support one another."

The LSU Alumni Association has more than 250,000 alumni worldwide. Participants can enter for prize opportunities and donate on the Tiger Nation Challenge website.
