LIVINGSTON — Livingston Parish public works crews have completed 97 miles of roadside ditching since last August, Parish President Randy Delatte said Tuesday.

Keeping roadside ditches maintained helps move water away from roads and properties and keeps the drainage system working as it should, Delatte said.

He added that more updates on what else public works crews are accomplishing will be shared over the next few weeks.
