BAYOU SORREL - State Police say impairment is suspected to be a factor in a Thursday morning crash leaving one 18-year-old dead. 

According to authorities, Elin Colderon of Baton Rouge was driving on LA-75 in Iberville Parish when his vehicle ran off the roadway and struck an embankment. Colderon was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. 

State Police say a sample will be taken from Colderon for analysis.
