BATON ROUGE — Every year, the Walk to Remember is held in Baton Rouge and benefits the work of the Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area.
Alzheimer's Services' Barbara Auten says that each year, the event brings awareness to Alzheimer's.
"It's amazing the difference just the last couple of years have made with the disease," she told WBRZ's John Pastorek. "We actually have hope now."
This year's event is being held on Oct. 24 starting at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana's campus on Reitz Avenue in Baton Rouge from 8 a.m. to noon.
