BRPD: Two men hurt in shooting while leaving Southern University Homecoming Parade

BATON ROUGE - Two men were shot Sunday as the Southern University Homecoming Parade was coming to a close.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said the shooting happened at 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Osprey and Kingfisher avenues.
Officers found two men who had been shot. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
BRPD said the shooting was not connected to the homecoming celebration, but the victims were attending the parade and were leaving when the shooting happened.
WBRZ spoke with a relative of the victims, who said the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute with family members. They shared photos of two vehicles that were shot multiple times.
As of Sunday night, no arrests have been made.
