TPSO: Folsom man arrested on sex crimes and child sexual abuse material charges
HAMMOND — A 21-year-old Folsom-area man faces multiple felony charges following two separate sex-crimes investigations, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Cohen Gray was booked on one count of sexual battery and three counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
The initial investigation began in October 2025, when authorities identified Gray as a suspect in a sexual battery case involving a juvenile relative. While an arrest warrant was issued at the time, law enforcement across several jurisdictions were initially unable to locate him.
Over the summer, the sheriff’s office's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division launched a separate investigation into child sexual abuse material uploaded to a social media platform from an IP address within Tangipahoa Parish.
Detectives traced the digital footprint to a local address, where deputies arrested Gray on October 15 while responding to an unrelated disturbance call. He was initially taken into custody on the outstanding warrant. A forensic examination of devices seized during his arrest linked him to the uploaded material, leading investigators to rebook him on the additional juvenile pornography charges this week.
