Tom Cruise filming in downtown Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE- Filming for the movie "Jack Reacher 2" starring Tom Cruise will close downtown streets today.
Police said North Street will close between the River and the state parking garage from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Police officers will be around to direct people through the area.
No parking is allowed on the 300 and 400 blocks of North Street, the 500 and 600 blocks of North 3rd Street, the 500 and 600 blocks of North 4th Street and the 300 and 400 blocks of Spanish Town Road until 8 p.m. tonight.
Parking is also closed on the 100 and 200 blocks of North Street and the 500 and 600 blocks of Lafayette Street. Those spaces will reopen to the public on Tuesday evening.
