CENTRAL — Hooper Road at Greenwell Springs Road is closed due to a crash that left one person injured.

The crash was first reported around 8 a.m. on Thursday, with Baton Rouge EMS responding shortly afterwards.

"Please avoid the area at this time," officials said in an alert.

Officials said that one person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
