HAMMOND — Deputies with the Tangipahoa Sheriff's Office are searching for the owner of a pony found in Hammond on Friday. 

Deputies located the pony along West Lee Hughes Road, with a neighbor offering to care for the animal until the owner is located. 

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.
