BATON ROUGE — Multiple agencies responded to Scotlandville High School to arrest a student on a Baton Rouge Police Department warrant Wednesday morning, officials told WBRZ. 

An East Baton Rouge Parish School System spokesperson told WBRZ that, around 9 a.m., East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputies and BRPD officers arrived at the school to serve the warrant on the student.

The spokesperson added that the student was served the warrant and escorted off campus. 

WBRZ has asked BRPD for more information about the arrest.
