LSU volleyball loses in straight sets to Vanderbilt
BATON ROUGE - LSU volleyball's third time out this season in SEC play ended in a loss as the Tigers fell 3-0 to Vanderbilt, despite a 12-kill effort from senior outside hitter Jurnee Robinson.
LSU kept the first two sets close; they lost 25-22 in set one and 25-23 in set two, but the Commodores ended up pulling away with a decisive 25-16 win in set three to finish off the sweep. The loss drops the Tigers to 6-6 on the season at 1-2 in SEC play.
Vanderbilt, meanwhile, is 10-2 with a 1-2 SEC record.
