BATON ROUGE — A woman arrested by Louisiana State Police for her involvement in a crash with a missing Texas woman was booked again for escaping from handcuffs while in LSP custody, arrest documents say.

Sandrea Davis, 21, was booked Tuesday for simple escape. She had previously been arrested by Louisiana State Police for reckless operation in a crash with Christin Munn-Holliday.

Munn-Holliday was last seen Sept. 30 after a two-car crash near the Whiskey Bay exit. Investigators found her car unoccupied while the other car had multiple people inside.

Arrest documents say that Davis was traveling at 105 miles per hour at the time of the crash; they say she also admitted to troopers that she was speeding prior to the crash.

While handcuffed to a bench in the LSP Troop A building on Highland Road, Davis escaped from handcuffs and attempted to flee, but was apprehended by sergeants sitting at the front desk. This happened Thursday, Oct. 22, arrest documents say.

Louisiana State Police told WBRZ on Friday that the reckless operation arrest is related to the crash, not Munn-Holliday's disappearance. When asked about the disappearance investigation, State Police said they "cannot confirm or discuss specific evidence or investigative findings at this time."
