DONALDSONVILLE- ACT answer booklets of dozens of students have gone missing and those students are being told they should plan to retake the test.

ACT has alerted students who took the college entrance exam on Oct. 28 at Donaldsonville High School that their answers booklets have apparently been lost.

The booklets were sent from the school back to ACT via Federal Express and they have not arrived, said Ed Colby, spokesman for the exam company. Officials said 81 students may have been affected.

Missing packages happen rarely, he said, and the answer booklets typically do eventually arrive at ACT.

But just in case, the company has registered the students to retake the test Dec. 9.
