Library looking for mystery lovers
BATON ROUGE - Someone popped the question on top of the East Baton Rouge Main Library on Goodwood Blvd. The library is trying to track down the mystery couple.
Tuesday morning they found "Marry Me?" spelled out in rocks on the rooftoop. They believe the proposal likely happened Monday night after 7 p.m.
The library's assistant director isn't surprised someone would propose there.
"People love the library; people are in at all hours of the night," Mary Stein explains. "We like to think of the library as a place for lovers, so it's not all that far out of the imagination."
If you know who the mystery couple is, call the library at (225) 231-3700.
