La. reports 976 new virus cases Friday, hospitalizations down

FRIDAY: The state is reporting 976 new cases for a total of 160,283.  There were 29 additional deaths, a total of 5,172 Friday. 

Hospitalizations were down to 647, and ventilator use was down to 104.

THURSDAY: The state is reporting 500 new cases, a total of 159,304.  There were 17 additional deaths for a total of 5,143 statewide. 

Hospitalizations fell to 663 and ventilator use dropped to 106.

WEDNESDAY: The state is reporting 508 new cases Wednesday, a total of 158,826. There were 18 additional deaths for a total of 5,126.

Hospitalizations rose to 678, and ventilator use was up to 107.

Another 5,130 were said to have recovered since last week.

TUESDAY: The state is reporting 426 new cases for a total  of 158,318. There were 26 additional deaths, bringing the statewide total to 5,082.

Hospitalizations rose slightly to 667, and ventilator use was down to 99.

MONDAY: The state is reporting 497 new cases, a total of 157,947. There were 17 additional deaths for a total of 5,082. 

Hospitalizations fell to 664, and ventilator use was down slightly to 105

SUNDAY: There were 1,353 new COVID-19 cases reported since Friday.  There were 33 more deaths since last week, bringing the total deaths in Louisiana of coronavirus since March to 5,065.  Hospitalizations dropped from 723 to 680 and patients needing ventilators were down to 107 from 117 last week.

Ascension: 3,627 cases / 96 deaths

Assumption: 735 cases / 24 deaths

East Baton Rouge: 14,701 cases / 434 deaths

East Feliciana: 1,690 cases / 65 deaths

Iberville: 1,400 cases / 58 deaths 

Livingston: 3,653 cases / 71 deaths

Pointe Coupee: 1,029 cases / 40 deaths 

St. Helena: 394 cases / 4 death

St. James: 786 cases / 38 deaths

Tangipahoa: 4,323 cases / 113 deaths

West Baton Rouge: 875 cases / 41 deaths

West Feliciana: 678 cases / 24 deaths
