DENHAM SPRINGS – Federal agents and other police activity blocked off a part of Lockhart Road Friday afternoon.

Law enforcement were seen around the intersection of Magnolia Blvd around 3 o’clock Friday. The raid is targeting American Coach Works a wrecker lot just off the Range intersection.

The business tells WBRZ its employees were asked to leave the premises, but they are unsure what the agents are searching for at the lot.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said its bomb squad is providing assistance at the scene. State Police said it was also assisting in the investigation with the FBI but could not release information.

An FBI spokesperson said: "The FBI New Orleans Field Office, in conjunction with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Louisiana State Police, and the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office have executed a court-authorized action in the Denham Springs area of Baton Rouge. As this is an ongoing matter, no further comment is available at this time."

Officials are not ordering nearby properties to evacuate at this time.
