NEW ROADS — Entergy will enact a planned power outage across Pointe Coupee Parish on Sunday night, according to the Pointe Coupee Parish Government. 

The outage will allow Entergy crews to conduct maintenance and complete system improvements. Residents are encouraged to charge their electronic devices and prepare for backup power for medical equipment before the outage occurs.

The outage will take place on Sunday night from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
