Entergy announces one-time bill assistance; applications closed Wednesday afternoon
Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans recently allocated $4.4 million for eligible customers across the state for payment assistance.
Qualifying customers can apply online for a one-time $150 credit on a first-come, first-serve basis. The application portal opened on Entergy's website Wednesday, August 17 at 9 a.m. and closed at 4 p.m. that same afternoon.
The company said it reached its capacity for offering assistance.
“We are continuing to find ways to help our customers and provide assistance. This particular initiative that we’re announcing today is just one of many ways we’re helping provide support to our customers," said David Freese, Entergy Louisiana spokesperson.
