Coroner identifies teen who died following shooting near East Myrtle Avenue in Baker
BAKER — The identity of an 18-year-old who died following a shooting near East Myrtle Avenue late Friday night was revealed on Sunday.
The victim was identified as 18-year-old Anireeyah Blue, according to the East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office.
Officers with the Baker Police Department said the shooting occurred around 11:45 p.m. when officers found Blue suffering from a gunshot wound. Blue was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
