About 500 new virus cases in La. Wednesday, another 3,300 people recovered
WEDNESDAY: The state is reporting 503 new cases, a total of 181,443. There were 10 additional deaths, bringing the total to 5,676.
Hospitalizations increased to 613, and ventilator use fell to 80.
Another 3,352 people were said to have recovered in the past week.
TUESDAY: The state is reporting 885 new cases, bringing the total to 180,991 statewide. There were 18 additional deaths, a total of 5,666.
Hospitalizations fell to 600, and ventilator use jumped to 91.
MONDAY: The state is reporting 222 new cases Monday, a total of 180,069. There were 17 additional deaths, bringing the total to 5,648.
Hospitalizations rose to 609, and ventilator use rose to 71.
Weekend: The state reported 974 cases over the weekend, bringing the statewide total to 179,842. There were 17 additional deaths, a total of 5,631.
Hospitalizations fell to 596 and ventilator use up 66.
