BATON ROUGE — Residents and pets gathered at the Rally Cap Brewing Company for an Oktoberfest afternoon on Sunday.

Barktoberfest, a fundraiser and adoption event for the Capital Area Animal Welfare Society, saw residents participate in various costume contests. 

The event also featured a pet trick competition, drinks and food.
