BATON ROUGE — A barrier leading cars to Corporate Boulevard from College Drive removed over weekend, the Department of Development and Transportation confirmed.

Officials said that "drivers were not using the through lane properly and stopping, which led to unsafe rear-end conditions."

Additionally, officials said that removing the median is aligned with a future MOVEBR project and will minimize possible rear-end crashes.
