Walker High says inappropriate comic books handed out during trunk-or-treat event

WALKER - Officials at Walker High School are asking parents to search their child's Halloween bags after inappropriate comic books were handed out at Monday night's trunk-or-treat event.
The school said the comic books contained "images inappropriate for children," were donated by a parent and did not come from the school.
"School personnel were unaware of the content before the comic books were distributed," the school's statement read.
Officials asked parents to contact the Walker High School office if they find a comic book.
