US Air Force Academy Band bringing music, community outreach to Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE — The United States Air Force Academy Band is visiting the Capital Area this week.
Traveling from their headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the musical ensemble is touring Baton Rouge from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6, offering a series of outreach events designed to inspire audiences, connect with local communities, and support music education in area schools.
As part of their mission, the Air Force Academy Band’s touring ensembles perform across the nation to honor military veterans, foster community relations, and showcase the professionalism and heritage of the United States Air Force.
All of this honors local service members, veterans and military families across the Baton Rouge area and beyond.
