BATON ROUGE — This weekend, St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Plank Road is hosting a Mass honoring first responders.
Blue Mass Honoring First Responders is being held on Sunday at 10 a.m.
The service, organizers say, is to recognize, honor and pray for the dedication, service and sacrifice of area law enforcement and first responders.
The event is free and open to the public.
