WALKER — Popeyes in Walker held a Back-to-School Appreciation Event for teachers and school support staff on Tuesday.
A free meal was provided to every attendee with a valid school ID.
At the event, backpacks were filled with school supplies and handed out to students who purchased a meal.
Organizers say the event was held to support education in the Walker community.
