Pedestrian dead after being struck by car along La. 75 in Iberville Parish, LSP says

PLAQUEMINE — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a car along La. 75 in Iberville Parish, Louisiana State Police said.

According to state troopers, the crash happened around 4 p.m. on Monday along La. 75 south of La. 404 near the Bayou Pigeon Library.

The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital and was later pronounced dead.

WBRZ has asked Louisiana State Police for the man's ID.

Troopers are still investigating the fatal crash.
