BATON ROUGE - Authorities say one person was injured in an overnight shooting.

The incident was reported in the 2800 block of Weller Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Police say the victim is expected to survive their injuries.

Authorities say a ShotSpotter notified police of multiple shots being fired in the area.

The investigation is ongoing.
