Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser inducted into Sons of the American Revolution

BATON ROUGE — Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser has been inducted into the Louisiana Sons of the American Revolution.
He was welcomed into the local chapter during a banquet Friday night.
Nungesser's connection to the American Revolution goes back generations. His five-time great-grandfather, Daniel Van "Hearse," served as a lieutenant in the war.
The organization will host a commemoration of the 247th anniversary of the Battle of Baton Rouge at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Capitol Park Museum.
