Junior League of Baton Rouge trying to fill its diaper bank during 15th annual Diaper Need Awareness Week

BATON ROUGE — This week is the 15th annual Diaper Need Awareness Week, and the Junior League of Baton Rouge is on a mission to fill its diaper bank.
Junior League leadership said that one in three Louisiana families with young children struggle to afford diapers, and that government programs do not provide diapers. The organization added that diaper needs impact both the mental and physical well-being of children.
To kick off Diaper Need Awareness Week, which runs through Sunday, Junior League of Baton Rouge President NeShana Bilbrew and Director At-Large Nicole George-Picou visited 2une In on Sunday to share how people can help fill the diaper bank.
