Greater Baton Rouge State Fair kicks off 2026 festivities at Airline Highway Fairgrounds

ST. GEORGE - Thursday is opening day at the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair.
The fair has been a staple in the Capital Area for decades.
There are several attractions, such as the Human Cannonball, Racing Pigs, caricature artists and a petting zoo.
Admission is $15.

The fair runs through Nov. 1 at the Airline Highway Park's fairgrounds in St. George. WBRZ previously reported that the 2026 fair will be the final year along Airline Highway, eyeing a move to Baker in 2027 and beyond.
