East Baton Rouge school bus carrying around 30 students struck by CATS bus along Goodwood Boulevard

BATON ROUGE — An East Baton Rouge Parish School System bus carrying around 30 students was struck by a Capital Area Transit System bus on Monday morning near the intersection of Goodwood Boulevard and Airline Highway.
According to East Baton Rouge Parish Schools, the city bus struck the Sherwood Middle School bus on its driver-side mirror and kept driving north. The CATS bus did not stop, officials added.
No one was injured, officials added.
As of 7:30 a.m., the bus was pulled over to the shoulder of Goodwood and was not blocking traffic.
