Denham Springs I-12 exit lights down during demolition work, will be offline until 2027

DENHAM SPRINGS — Lighting along part of I-12 near the Denham Springs exits is temporarily down due to road work.
Denham Springs officials said the lights are offline for demolition work required under the state's current contract.
According to officials, the lights are expected to be restored between February and March 2027.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is asking drivers to use extra caution, reduce speed and stay alert when traveling through the roadway at night.
